AEMT series measuring transducers are intended to be used for measuring electrical quantities in AC, DC and pulse current circuits.
Thanks to wide range of input voltages (up to 300V), AEMT transducers can be used for condition monitoring of UPS systems, power distribution cabinets (boxes) and other industry objects. AEMT transducers can also be used for energy accounting and measuring of quantity of electricity.
AEMT transducers should be used with external current sensors (shunt resistors, current transformers and Hall sensors).
One AEMT transducer can at the same time operate as:
- Two DC ammeters
- Two AC (AC+DC) ammeters
- Two DC voltmeters
- Two AC (AC+DC) voltmeters
- Two DC wattmeters
- Two AC (AC+DC) wattmeters
- Two varmeters
Преобразователь АЕМТ обеспечивает измерение электрических величин постоянного и переменного тока по двум каналам измерений:
- DC voltage UDC | Performance class 0,2 according to IEC 61557-12 |
- DC current IDC | Performance class 0,5 according to IEC 61557-12 |
- DC power PDC | Percentage error 1% |
- DC energy WDC | Percentage error 1% |
- Quantity of electricity QDC | Percentage error 1 % |
- Voltage RMS value UAC | Performance class 0,5 according to IEC 61557-12 |
- Current RMS value IAC | Performance class 0,5 according to IEC 61557-12 |
- Active power P | Performance class 2 according to IEC 61557-12 |
- Reactive power PQ | Performance class 2 according to IEC 61557-12 |
- Apparent power PS | Performance class 2 according to IEC 61557-12 |
- Power factor PF | Error ±0,05 |
AEMT series transducers also feature measuring of DC energy and quantity of electricity. Measuring is being processed in both directions continuously or during set period of time.
Additional measurements for each channel:
- Frequency
- DC Power (Active power integrated over time) for both AC and pulsating current
Measurement data (digitalized) is transmitted via two independent interfaces: Ethernet and RS-485.
Communication protocols:
RS-485: MODBUS-RTU, MODBUS-ASCII, IEC 60870-5-101, «ExtDev» (for transmitting measurement data to indication devices);
Ethernet: MODBUS-TCP/IP, IEC 60870-5-104
Measurement data renewal interval – 100 ms
Measured values can also be displayed on AED and AEGD indication devices. AEGD is powered directly from AEMT transducers.
